Recruiters on Easyhyre can optionally connect their own Google account so that job invitations to candidates are sent from their own address instead of a shared Easyhyre one. Connecting is never required to use Easyhyre, and it can be undone at any time from Settings → Outreach.
When a recruiter connects Gmail, Easyhyre asks for exactly two permissions: the Google account's email address, so we can show which mailbox is connected and set the sender address; and permission to send mail on the recruiter's behalf, used only for the messages that recruiter composes or triggers inside Easyhyre. This is send-only access — Easyhyre cannot read, search, download, modify or delete anything in the mailbox, and we never store the subject or body of the mail we send. Candidates are never asked to connect a Google account.
